Cylinder Testing We now offer (UE) Ultrasonic Cylinder Testing. UE testing is similar to Hydrostatic cylinder testing, but does not require the removal of the valve. Since the valve does not need to be removed for the testing process this eliminates the risk that the valve will be damaged during the removal or installation process. The cylinder walls are tested by ultrasound so it doesn’t matter if the cylinder being tested is full or empty and the interior of the cylinder is never exposed to water which eliminates the risk of contamination or the need to dry the interior of the cylinder.
